Why South Goa?
Just long stretches of quiet beaches, slow mornings, and the kind of calm that lets your mind breathe and your creativity return.
What We Do
Over a few slow days in South Goa, we immerse ourselves in the art of printmaking.
No prior art experience is required — just curiosity.
This retreat is for you if…
• You’re looking for a creative pause from everyday life
Our Philosophy
The process matters more than perfection.
Day 1: Arrival & Introduction to Gelli Art Printmaking
Morning
Arrive at the resort and settle into your peaceful surroundings. As you check in, the calm energy of South Goa begins to set the tone for the retreat.
Join us for a welcome circle where you’ll meet fellow participants and facilitators. We’ll introduce the creative journey ahead and share how printmaking can become a playful, intuitive process rather than a rigid technique.
Afternoon — Gelli Art Printmaking Session
Begin with an introduction to Gelli Art Printmaking.
You’ll explore:
• Creating layered prints using acrylic paints
• Using leaves, textures, and found objects
• Building backgrounds and organic patterns
This session is about play, experimentation, and letting go of perfection.
Evening
Relax with the group over conversation and reflections from the first day.
Share your prints, discover different approaches, and ease into the rhythm of the retreat.
Day 2: Nature, Cyanotype & Creative Exploration
Early Morning
Start the day with a gentle walk at Mobor Beach.
Collect interesting leaves, textures, and natural forms that will later become part of your cyanotype compositions.
(Optional: Water sports for those seeking a bit of adventure.)
Late Morning / Afternoon — Cyanotype Printmaking Session
Discover the magic of Cyanotype Printmaking, one of the oldest photographic printing techniques.
In this session you will:
• Learn the cyanotype process
• Create compositions using the botanical elements collected in the morning
• Expose prints under sunlight to produce the iconic Prussian blue prints
Watching the prints develop in the sun becomes a magical moment of the retreat.
Lunch & Slow Afternoon
Head to Betalbatim Beach for a relaxed afternoon.
Enjoy lunch at Martin’s Corner, a beloved Goan restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and vibrant atmosphere.
Take time to sketch, reflect, or simply relax by the sea.

Return to the resort for a relaxed studio session.
You may:
• Layer your cyanotypes with gelli prints
